Do you trust the media? Most people don’t anymore. There was a time when journalists only reported the facts and left their opinions out of it. Now, they often spin the news to fit their agenda. That’s bad news for us!
The crazy thing is that many journalists know they are lying, but they do it anyway. Truth is not important…ratings are! Mark Twain famously said, “The secret of success is sincerity. If you can fake that, you’ve got it made.”
Thankfully, there is still one news reporter who always tells the truth. He gets His intel straight from God and “it is impossible for God to lie.” Hebrews 6.18
“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me.” John 16:13-14
Finally a news source we can trust!
Ok, I know there have been many false teachers who have said, “the Holy Spirit told me.” Anyone can say they’ve heard from God. Thankfully, there is a way to discern truth from lies.
“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you.” James 1:5
“With humility comes wisdom.” Proverbs 11:2
When we humbly ask God for wisdom, Jesus speaks to the Holy Spirit who then relays the truth to us. Wisdom granted!
Forget CNN and FOX news. I’m not looking to the Left or the Right for truth.

I was recently in Tulelake CA, at a Relocation/Segragation Center. So much “fake news came from there. It was reported that those who lived there had it made, and that they were happy.
we know that’s not true.
We know that if we turn to the Lord, lies will be revealed. We must diligently seek his wisdom, and his word.
