Party Pooper

There is a lot at stake this presidential election. I’m not voting for a person as much as I’m voting against a party I feel is taking us in the wrong direction. Here is why I think that.

I can not vote for a party who over the years has gradually removed God from their party platform while being hostile to people of faith.

I can’t vote for a party that believes a boy can become a girl, and vice versa, and fears answering the simple question, “What is a woman?” Nor can I vote for a party who allows doctors to cut off a confused girl’s healthy breasts.

I can’t vote for a party who doesn’t value and protect the unborn.

I can’t vote for a party who believes males have the right to compete in girls sports and share bathrooms and locker rooms with females.

I can’t vote for a party who would endanger citizens by allowing millions of unvetted people to enter our country.

I can’t vote for a party that would force Americans who didn’t go to college (or did go and worked hard to pay off their student loans) to pay the school debt of others.

I can’t vote for a party that secretly conspires with the media and Big Tech to cancel and censor speech they don’t agree with.

Sorry if I sound like a party pooper, but it’s not a fun party when all those things I mentioned are taking place. I am aware the other political parties definitely have their faults too. There is no one righteous.

I am not voting for a Savior. I already have one. God doesn’t need a president to accomplish His will on earth. He’s given that job to us, His children.

One way we can agree with His will is by voting against policies that don’t please His heart.

Whoever God allows to be our next president will have my heartfelt prayers. We are in a spiritual battle and the god of this world seems at times to be winning. Our president needs our prayers.

So let’s pray… and vote… and keep on praying. God’s not done with America yet.

Come Lord Jesus. We need You. We repent of our wickedness that has created the mess the world is in. Have mercy on us. Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

“If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles‬ ‭7‬:‭14‬ ‭
