Full House

Four generations, ages 6 to 93, living in the forest under one roof. It’s challenging at times, but the blessings far outweigh the difficulties. Meet our family.

Crosby and Marci have a special bond. The day often begins with this little guy jumping into our bed to snuggle!

Our only granddaughter Dixie is such a delight. She has her papa wrapped around her finger.

Hudson is an amazing musician. Playing music with him is a highlight of my life these days.

Brothers Lincoln and Boone are best of friends. They are kindhearted country boys who love God and people with a passion!

Our daughter Phoebe homeschools her five children. Such a godly woman, she is raising awesome kids who know they are loved by God.

Our son-in-law Johnny is a loving, godly man. Whether it’s coloring with Crosby or pheasant hunting with the big kids, Johnny is always finding ways to make special memories with the family.

Grandma Glenda and Papa Don, both 93, enjoy living with their great grandchildren. Their love for Jesus and others has made a huge impact on our family. If a person’s worth is determined by the number of lives they have touched, Don and Glenda are millionaires!

Last but not least is Marty, our lovable Bernedoodle. Along with two cats and thirty chickens, Marty makes life in the forest pretty fun!

If you’re ever in Colorado Springs, give us a call. Though it’s a full house, we always have room for our friends!

Love,

Walt and Marci

Grandchildren are the pride and joy of old age, and children take great pride in their parents.” Proverbs‬ ‭17‬:‭6‬ ‭ERV‬‬

  1. That was great Walt…We live about 50 miles from town, in a forest (we own) and I think we are the fall-back if everything hits the fan. A life quiet enough listen in silence to know that He is God.

  3. oh my gosh, Walt! So, so beautiful. I didn’t know that Phoebe and her family were also under the same roof. What a tremendous joy and blessing to share life as a village! We have 5 in our home including 95 yr old Mom. Our season is full but making lasting memories.

    1. How’s your mom’s health Karen? Dad turns 94 in 2 weeks. His health is declining. Still has the joy of Jesus though! These are special days for sure. Blessings to all of you!

      1. you are so kind to ask. Mom is doing well. If you saw my Facebook post recently, she did take a tumble and fractured a bone in her neck. Has to wear a brace and we are awaiting a follow up with a neurologist. But she’s still sassy, haha! I’m sorry to hear Don is declining. It is a tough but treasured season.
