About

California was my home for the first 64 years of my life until 2021, when Marci and I sold our home of 40 years and moved to colorful Colorado. We are now living in community with family – four generations under one roof, ages 5 to 93. It’s an adventure as we learn to love Jesus, each other and the wonderful people God puts in our path.

Marci and I met in a music group in the 70s. We toured the US in a Campus Life band called “Under New Management” doing high school assemblies and concerts, sharing our faith in Christ.

For the first thirty years of our marriage, Marci and I led worship for marriage conferences, family camps and churches. During that time we released two solo albums. We love writing worship songs and children’s songs. Several of our tunes appeared on an ABC Saturday morning cartoon show and also on the Grammy nominated children’s albums Music Machine, Bullfrogs and Butterflies and the Agapeland Character Builders series.

One of the most fun and fruitful ministries we’ve done is pastoring a home church for fifteen years. Meeting in small groups are the best way we have found to help people experience God’s love in a tangible way.

Today, ministry includes writing my Heartspills, discipling men, caring for Marci’s elderly parents and loving on the five adorable grandkids we get to live with. I find great joy playing piano, writing songs and exploring the beauty of Colorado. But most of all helping others discover the amazing love of Jesus.
