Hope is Rising!

Thousands of South Korean youth marched through Seoul this week chanting, “We are Charlie Kirk!” Kirk’s tragic death has sparked a global movement of people who loved him, and the truth he boldly proclaimed.

Charlie constantly said, “The most important decision you will ever make is to give your life to Christ.” Knowing Christ and making disciples who lived for Him was Charlie’s passion.

All of us are disciples of someone. Charlie chose to follow Christ. The teachings of Jesus captured his heart, and they are now capturing the hearts of millions around the world.

I’m no longer praying for a spiritual awakening to come to our nation. I believe it’s here! The light of Christ is piercing the darkness of this fallen world and the kingdom of God is powerfully advancing. It’s a kingdom of “righteousness, peace and joy, in the Holy Spirit.” Romans 14:17. People around the world want to be a part of the kingdom. It’s the true party of joy!

I am sure if Charlie could see people chanting, “We are Charlie Kirk”, he would kindly correct them, and redirect them to say, “We are Jesus Christ. And don’t just say it. BE Jesus to others, by obeying everything He taught us, like loving those who hate you, and forgiving those who hurt you. Be the light of the world Jesus said you are!”

Charlie Kirk‘s greatest desire was to please His Lord. He prayed everyone he engaged with would know the amazing love Christ has for them.

We are now seeing the answer to Charlie’s prayer. Around the world, people who never heard of him are watching videos of Charlie sharing the gospel, inspiring them to read the Bible for the first time. They are encountering Jesus and escaping this dark world and entering the kingdom of light.

Yes, God’s glorious kingdom has arrived, and the darkness can never overcome it.

Hope is rising. I’m excited! This could be the next Great Awakening!
